Hi fellow Movie Chatters,
I can’t seem to work out how to change my password here on Movie Chat?
When I have clicked on ‘edit your profile’ there seem to be hardly any options available to edit other than your avatar.
I have emailed Movie Chat via their contact email but have had no reply.
Can anyone help me out please?

As linuxlad and FredBurroughs suggested below I had to logout of my account and then pretend I had forgotten my password so they sent me a reset link.
I appreciate your reply and now we both know how to do it!

I'm not sure, however, other sites will allow you change/reset your password by doing the following:
Logout of your account, then in the login page, click on "forgot password" and then enter your email address and click submit. You should receive an email to reset/change your password. Try it, you have nothing to loose.

Just so everyone on here reads this too, the reason why I wanted to change my password is because my Apple device told me today that the Movie Chat website had been part of a data leak and my password was compromised.
So I would highly recommend you all update your own password too!

I see what you’re both saying (and it’s very funny) but don’t ever underestimate how lazy or repetitive people are regarding their passwords so one data breach could mean you’ve been compromised on more than a few websites.

I’ve had a shit of a day so it really did make me lol- especially if you had ever seen my old IMDb threads profile where I specifically mention how much I hated Episodes 1-3!
Glad my joke landed as intended.
As an aside, I don't think Episode III deserves the hate. Whilst the first two were disappointing, I thought the third one wasn't that bad.
