I guess I'm pretty mainstream. I recall in Beijing, there were snake restaurants and I thought that was disgusting, but my dad told me he liked rattlesnake. Yuck - I really would have to be starving.
I love raw oysters, not terribly exotic, but most people I know think that's weird.

I had Filipino durian pastries once, someone brought them to work. Durian is a tropical fruit famous for tasting like a corpse and for killing the people who work in the groves, the fruits are about the size and weight of a coconut and are covered with deadly sharp spikes, they randomly fall off the trees and hit people on the head. Sure enough, the fruit in the pastry had a whiff of the morgue about it. Nasty stuff.
