Juno was cool, Page was great, handled the dialogue well....

Oh, Shoges, it appears we possess a similar sense of humor and share a left brain sensibility....I’d definitely recommend watching Thank You for Smoking, it is really good, the comedy offers good laughs and subtle chuckles, the satire is there and the cast is pretty damn good too....Get some, Uncle Shogie!...I think you’ll like it...

A film buff buddy of mine says Baumbach doesn’t make a bad film (I mildly disagree there)....I think Reitman is that director for me, I haven’t been disappointed in any of his films, some I like more than others but I think all are good to great....

The Front Runner, many probably think why do we need a story about a bore like Gary Hart....yes he was a policy wonk, not a very sexy subject, but that Donna Rice scandal gave us a preview, post-Watergate, on the way media would be covering candidates for the years ahead....saw it at a Q&A with Reitman and fellow credited script writer and journalist Matt Bai...it was cool, a bunch of young ones and college students in the crowd, a fun discussion and one of the better ones I’ve been to because the mood was light and the questions were good....sometimes those Q&As can be stuffy with a bunch of arrogant and egotistical film buffs, and I end up leaving because I don’t want to hear someone talk about how smart there are about film, but I digress....I’d say take a watch with your DVD, Jackman is solid.....

Labor Day is the one that’s probably the least liked by viewers....I’ve only watched it a few times, but I can dig the performances of Brolin and Winslet, two always-good performers that I like watching....

Doesn’t surprise me that the A-man goes with Tully as the best...I liked it very much, Theron was good, but I was especially impressed with Mackenzie Davis, I always look now to see what projects she’s in....

Glad you liked Thank You for Smoking, I can’t say enough goods things about it. Up in the Air was good too, Clooney was good, Kendrick was great.
