I have to buy the “light” or reduced fat versions, I can’t stand how greasy and butter the rest of them are. Even Orville Redenbacher’s naturals simply salted is way too buttery.

You can make your own in a brown paper bag. Half a cup of kernels and a teaspoon of oil of your choosing. (you can do it without oil too) Mix in a bowl, top with salt or whatever flavouring you want. Place in a bag. Fold the top over to keep the moisture in, I've done once and twice for the folds. Pop for 2 1/2 to 3 minutes. Same way you do other microwave popcorn.

Don't call it butter, call it "butter" with quote marks, or just yellow oil.
