I'm trying to add my picture to my account, so I can bless you all with what I get in the mirror everyday. But can't seem to figure it out.

This site doesn't upload images for you, an image that you have stored on your computer. The image must have a Universal Resource Locator, or URL. Fancy name for an address. I would imagine something like this https://photos.google.com/ would allow you to upload a photo on your computer, and then you would have an address to link to.
I'm on my phone. Will that still work.

I don't use these services. It's called a hosting service. You upload to a "host" which stores the image on the internet. Then you can link to it.

If there is a picture already on the internet that you would like to use, you would right click on the image and select copy image address, then paste that in 'avatar image url' space
