Does the night of the week put you in the mood for a certain type of movie?

I've always felt like it does for me.

Obviously its not 100%, but typically I'm in the mood for a certain genre depending on the night.

Mondays: Action/Thriller
Tuesday: Mystery/Suspense
Wednesday: Slapstick type comedy
Thursday : Bowling league night for me, I usually don't watch movies on Thursdays.
Fridays: Raunchy comedies, or 80's teen comedy
Saturday : Saturday is all about horror.
Sunday : Epic Drama/Tearjerker

I can't really explain this, except maybe ever since I was about 12 and I got a tv and vcr in my room (mid 90s), I've had a tradition of watching a movie before bed.

Certain movies and things that helped mold this habit are:

I remember watching The Principal in the 90's on a Monday. It felt right and so ever since I've reserved Mondays for suspensful actiony types.

Wednesday is always a mini celebration of hump day, so I like a modern new comedy.

Growing up I watched USA Up All Night with Rhonda Sheer and Gilbert Godfried, and they either had raunchy comedy or horror, so Friday nights are when I watch a lot of sex comedies, i.e Revenge of the Nerds

And before USA Up All Night was on USA Network, I grew up watching Saturday Nightmares, so Saturdays to me are meant for horror.

Sunday nights I usually get the Sunday blues, and though you might say a comedy is what's needed, I want to feel emotion and be moved, so Sunday is a movie like Forrest Gump.

i'm definitely nowhere near that kind of specificity, but i definitely try to leave heavier, longer films for my saturday and sunday afternoons, and will usually try to find something trashy or silly to watch before i turn in on sunday.
