Anyone remember the game Strider on Sega Genesis?
Great game, love the atmosphere, futuristic setting and music. I recently downloaded a Genesis emulator on my desktop and playing it gives me deep nostalgia for the early ‘90s.

shareMy cousin remember it he say he liked the futuristic sound of the sword, and it had the arcade machine he use to play in the old circus which he said was good. Overall he said it was a game he remember well.
shareMy favourite old school game was Prince of Persia. Used to play it on dos, on the first computer we had.
sharePoP was great but I liked the futuristic sequel better (don't recall the name).
I was more Genesis than NES. Loved Star Control and near the end of things, Sega Channel.
Think it was just called PoP 2 . I remember it being harder than the first one. I never finished the second game.
shareIjust leaned on a network of old friends and one finally remembered the game. It was called Out of this World.
shareYes, OOTW is an amazing game. Another one in this style is called Flashback.
OOTW also has a sequel called Heart of Darkness.
I was about to answer your other post that OOTW might be the game you were thinking of!

I just got Flashback heads up in a text and was going to edit and add. Yeah, I think I liked Flashback more. Satisfying mix of problem solving and action.
shareI played the NES version of Strider. Great game, very tough.
