Died Young. What is the cut off age?
I consider 39 to be fairly young, but to say someone 39 died young doesn’t sound right.
I’m going to go with 35.

shareIf someone died in their 50s, I'd say fairly young. Anything below 50 is just young to me.
share60, Anything before that and you're looking for unnatural causes. Drugs..etc.
shareAgree - below 60 and between 60 and 70 is premature.

That’s my view, pretty much. Marilyn Monroe was 36 or so and she is considered by many to have died young.
shareGood answer. There's a difference between dying young and dying too young.
I can go with 40 as being young to die, but then I could also go with 41, 42, 43... Okay, maybe 45 then.
70-80 maybe too young, or a probably not from natural causes death, so then too young.

shareI'd say dying before 50 is pretty young in this day and age. I think of say, John Candy, as dying young.
