Well, undoubtedly he’s a skilled musician - no question about that - but it’s the emotion he generates within his fans.

Well, there are plenty who can play and fans wouldn't be fans if they didn't react that way-- so I'm still not sure what makes him the best of them. Are you?

I have all his solo stuff (yes I realise that much in collaboration with others) and they’re all great albums. I don’t think he’s quite the best ever, but definitely a fine addition to any ‘best of’ list. 🎸🤘

Outside of GnR he’s released four studio albums, all of which are pretty solid. You can probably get them on Amazon quite cheaply (if you’re into physical media).

On a side note, he did a cover of ‘Can’t Get It Out If My Head’ which was originally by my favourite band of all time ELO and I thought he did a super job.

One of his major influences, Michael Schenker is light years better. Listen the the live UFO album, Strangers in the Night. Pure mastery.
