Weirdest offerings served in a McDonald's or other fast food restaurant?

In any fast food restaurant: Anything in the "Heart Attack Grill" in Las Vegas, which is dedicated to excess (Stuff fried in lard, butter in milkshakes, and extra beef patties in burgers.)

In a McDonald's: I guess that burger with a pitch black bun served in Japan. (Halloween special) Or the Tiki Aloo (Potato Patty) Burger served in India.

Ok. So one time we went to McDonald’s for these snickerdoodle mcflurrys we heard about. They didn’t have any so that the kind gals there said here, have some holiday pies!
They were like the apple pies but full of raw cookie dough. Kinda gross.

reply

Hehe. I can see how they can be gross but I'm still willing to try them!

reply

Oh yeah, we ate them both.

Mickey D's once had a McHotdog.

CARL'S JR HAD HOT DOGS FOR A WHILE TOO...MY DAUGHTER LOVED THEM.SHE WAS UPSET WHEN THEY GOT DISCONTINUED.

reply

We've got Pal's here and they do a pretty good hotdog. It's pretty much perfect for little hands.

reply

No, really? That I've never seen or heard of before.

Do or did they have Der Wienerschnitzel in your part of the world? https://www.wienerschnitzel.com

All they have or had is dogs. It's terrible for you, no getting around it's junk food, but damn I loved those chili cheese dogs, the sauerkraut dogs, and what I remember them calling a Chicago dog (tomato, onions, mustard and maybe dill pickle). The buns are like Wonder bread, but steamed and very tender.

I'm so glad I don't live anywhere near one anymore because it's the one junk food food that's hard for me to resist.

reply

Oh god, chili cheese dogs are like heroin. Sooo good, but sooo bad.
Love Chicago dogs too!

reply

They are. I mainlined!

I like just about all dogs. Why o why do they have to be so bad for us?

reply

ON A PRETZEL BUN!

reply

Oh Hell yeah!

I remember they had the Fish McBites over here in the states a couple of years back, I heard it tasted pretty gross, I never bought them though.

reply

Ah, they were good in my opinion. Then again I like fish.

Getting a side salad at a fast food place is weird in itself. Twice recently I chose this route, and the salad itself is packaged in a sturdy two piece plastic container which is sealed in a plastic bag. A plastic fork and knife sealed in another plastic bag are provided. And if you choose dressing (who wouldn't?) the single serve portion comes in a little plastic squeeze bag. Felt like I was throwing away a week's worth of plastic on one visit.

reply

Yeah, so much waste....

reply

Has anyone ever had the Lobster Roll?

I'm sure the Dutch McKroket would seem weird to most foreigners. Heck, it even seems weird to me!

reply

Sounds good!

reply

Wouldn't you prefer a Salmon Roll, though???

reply

Well I am cannibalistic....

Seriously, that would be great, too! Any seafood!
