Did you miss your high school and elementary school years? Did you go to prom?

I personally hated those years. Don't miss it at all. Did not go to prom because I don't care for that kinda stuff.

I have some great high school memories. Elementary school, not so much. It wasn't horrible but it wasn't good either. To answer your question though, no I don't really miss it. Maybe some aspects of it I do.

I met a guy from another high school my senior year (and his) and we were inseparable. We went to each other's proms. We had a blast at both proms.
Decades later, they still rank as some of the best times of my life.

We moved constantly till half way thru 9th grade so that sucked. High school was high school so that sucked. Prom would have been around a bunch of lowbrow knuckledraggers who would have insisted on getting blood on their tuxes. Why the Hell would I willingly do that?
Yeah it was all basically crap. I especially hated all the genetic mudpuddles who equated high school with reality.

Miss the carefree days of youth, but I couldn't wait to finish with high school so much that I left two years before I would have even attended prom.

Hated school, but I'm glad I attended at least one prom. A bunch of us pooled our resources and hired a bus from a limo company. Good times.

I had good moments and bad moments when I was a youth. In particular most years were good, a few great, a few bad.

Kindergarden-4th were pretty good. 5th was brutal. I had Satan for my teacher. The guy later went to prison for felonious assault. 6th was good. 7th was the worst. Bullied, not one but two best friends move away the summer before 1st year of junior high, so I had no friends going into a new school as a 12 year, in a school that had 15 year olds as well. And the older kids loved to pick on loner 7th graders. It was miserable.

8th-10th were good. 11th not so good. 12th was amazing. That was the year I started smoking pot and experimenting. Went to my first raves and I loved being popular at them.

Instead of dancing at the school prom some of our fun group went dancing while on ecstasy at a rave.

I'm certain we had more fun then if we would've went to the prom.

Overall I enjoyed my youth. I grew up in an upper middle class family and was a child of the 80's and 90's. It was a fun time to grow up. Had rough times but also great times.

Senior year was best, mostly because I knew graduation was coming. Honestly I felt like I was in prison for most of it, so no, I don't miss it or elementary school. Elementary school was somewhat better, but all I wanted to do was read, draw or paint, and be in nature.

I did go to prom because I knew for better or worse it'd be a once-in-a-lifetime thing and I wanted the experience. Went with my boyfriend, who was 3 years older than I. None of my friends went because they thought it was too uncool a thing to do. Would have been more fun with at least a couple of them there, but oh well, I did have my boyfriend and I'm glad I went. Even though it was kind of dopey.

Elementary school? Not so much. But college was lit yo!

I was a poor student, immature, and insecure. Other than that, it was great.
