HBO To Stream 500 Hours Of Free Programming, Including Full Seasons Of ‘Veep’, ‘The Wire’, ‘Silicon Valley’
share
Such a shame. I don't watch TV shows, I'd rather get free movie streams.
shareAt the risk of sounding like an annoying hipster The Wire really is excellent👍
shareI'll bet it won't be available to me. I'm on the cheapest package Comcast has. (I think over the air has more meaningful options than I do.)
shareBad to hear snepts
The show is as magnificent as they all claim (and I get how annoying 'they' all are lol)
Maybe try the library?
Yes try the library
shareOh you Librarians...Always drumming up business😤
shareYes I’m there right now in a sandwich board trying to get people to come in
shareI'll have a Rueben with a side of onion rings please
shareSure no problem. Enjoy sir. I promise no part of that sandwich has been in my pants
shareNO tip for you mister!
shareOh there’s a tip
shareKeep that fancy garnish to yourself!
shareMY AWESOME LIBRARY IS CLOSED .
shareThey are all closed silly
shareHey, around these parts he's referred to as 'silly K'
Show some respect dude!
500 hours would get you through half a season of game of thrones ?
shareEh, I'm pretty fast for a large white dude, I bet I could do the whole series in 100 hours if you send me some Ramen noodles
shareYeah, nearly everything is shut down
Funny thing, gas stations, gun shops and liquor stores are fully operational😃
USA USA USA🇺🇸!
But I’m curious what made it so awesome
shareTHEY HAVE ALMOST AS MANY FLICKS ON DVD/BLU RAY AS I DO...AND THATS A WHOLE FUCKING LOT...PLUS THE LOCAL LIBRARY SYSTEM VIA ONLINE REQUEST HAS ALMOST EVERYTHING...ALSO,ITS HUGE,CLEAN,ROBOTIC AND FANCY AS SHIT...MY DAUGHTER AND I GO TO THE LIBRARY TWO OR THREE TIMES A WEEK USUALLY.
shareBack when Bloockbuster was still a "thing," I wanted to binge The Wire but a bunch of people were returning the box without the DVD, or something like that. Just looked like I couldn't easily rent them in the right order and enjoy it. And of course, then Blockbuster went the way of the Dodo bird and VCR.
shareTHE DODO IS DEAD AS SHIT...THE VCR IS MAKING A COMEBACK THOUGH.
shareI think you just need the internet.
shareOh ! Where can I buy one?
sharebuy what?
shareA joke. Sometimes I'm so frustrated with how everyone seems to navigate the internet so easy and find all kinds of content, I just feel stupid. I'm not inclined to click on every blue link and enjoy this wonderful great blue yonder. Viruses, hackers, thieves, deceitful providers, I don't have trusted sources to advise me what's right and what's wrong. So I stay clear as I would a rabid coyote.
shareI hear ya.
shareWhy wouldn't it be? If it's free it's free, and I'd think it'd be available on their website. I have no cable at all, and canceled my HBO subscription through Amazon because the show I wanted to see was over and they had nothing else I was that interested in seeing. But without reading the article, I'd assume it's free to me.
shareYou could be right. I'm just PO'd at how expensive it is to have anything remotely entertaining through Comcast.
All I see are people discussing GameOT, now Tiger King, any number of interesting shows, but you have to be able to access and pay for them, so it's less of a communal thing rather than something people with $$ can share with each other.
Good for them. Hopefully Amazon will do something similar.
