reply

Such a shame. I don't watch TV shows, I'd rather get free movie streams.

reply

At the risk of sounding like an annoying hipster The Wire really is excellent👍

reply

I VERY MUCH ENJOY SILICON VALLEY AND VEEP...HBO MAKES GOOD SHIT.

reply

True!

reply

I'll bet it won't be available to me. I'm on the cheapest package Comcast has. (I think over the air has more meaningful options than I do.)

reply

Bad to hear snepts
The show is as magnificent as they all claim (and I get how annoying 'they' all are lol)

Maybe try the library?

reply

Yes try the library

reply

Oh you Librarians...Always drumming up business😤

reply

Yes I’m there right now in a sandwich board trying to get people to come in

reply

I'll have a Rueben with a side of onion rings please

reply

Sure no problem. Enjoy sir. I promise no part of that sandwich has been in my pants

reply

NO tip for you mister!

reply

Oh there’s a tip

reply

Keep that fancy garnish to yourself!

reply

Keep your ... like um keep your faces . Shut up you’re banned from what ever shop I made this sandwich in

reply

I'll have you know that I write for Zagat's and I will destroy you

Also, where's the restroom, I have to go #1 in the worst way!

reply

Sorry customers only

reply

Fine! Let me have my Rueben, I'll just pee in the alley like most New Yorkers
damn you!

reply

Sure just give me 500 hours with that Ruben

reply

I always give 500 hours...You're a lady, right??

reply

You’re s Disney princess sad right

reply

That made very little sense so posossibly no

reply

MY AWESOME LIBRARY IS CLOSED .

reply

They are all closed silly

reply

Hey, around these parts he's referred to as 'silly K'

Show some respect dude!

reply

500 hours would get you through half a season of game of thrones ?

reply

Eh, I'm pretty fast for a large white dude, I bet I could do the whole series in 100 hours if you send me some Ramen noodles

reply

I bet you couldn’t ... I’ll even give you 108 hours . How many did Franco need to cut off his arm ?

reply

172?

That's a guess...

reply

I think it was like 42 or 3000

reply

Sounds close👍

reply

There were only 67 episodes at 51 to 53 minutes each. 500 hours is more than enough.

reply

Here comes Debbie downer

reply

it's the math thing.

reply

Oh you precise Accountants are as annoying as those infernal Librarians!

reply

Does that include special features and directors commentary ?

reply

I would doubt HBO would include that in this freebie.

reply

You doubt ? Or are you sure ?

reply

I have HBO and special features is not included. They put that on the DVD.

reply

Then I guess you’ve covered all your basis

reply

And don’t you mean SILLY K

reply

Only his homies get to call him that...I think he's strapped, back away man!

reply

Yeah, nearly everything is shut down

Funny thing, gas stations, gun shops and liquor stores are fully operational😃

USA USA USA🇺🇸!

reply

But I’m curious what made it so awesome

reply

THEY HAVE ALMOST AS MANY FLICKS ON DVD/BLU RAY AS I DO...AND THATS A WHOLE FUCKING LOT...PLUS THE LOCAL LIBRARY SYSTEM VIA ONLINE REQUEST HAS ALMOST EVERYTHING...ALSO,ITS HUGE,CLEAN,ROBOTIC AND FANCY AS SHIT...MY DAUGHTER AND I GO TO THE LIBRARY TWO OR THREE TIMES A WEEK USUALLY.

reply

Back when Bloockbuster was still a "thing," I wanted to binge The Wire but a bunch of people were returning the box without the DVD, or something like that. Just looked like I couldn't easily rent them in the right order and enjoy it. And of course, then Blockbuster went the way of the Dodo bird and VCR.

reply

THE DODO IS DEAD AS SHIT...THE VCR IS MAKING A COMEBACK THOUGH.

reply

I think you just need the internet.

reply

Oh ! Where can I buy one?

reply

buy what?

reply

A joke. Sometimes I'm so frustrated with how everyone seems to navigate the internet so easy and find all kinds of content, I just feel stupid. I'm not inclined to click on every blue link and enjoy this wonderful great blue yonder. Viruses, hackers, thieves, deceitful providers, I don't have trusted sources to advise me what's right and what's wrong. So I stay clear as I would a rabid coyote.

reply

I hear ya.

reply

Why wouldn't it be? If it's free it's free, and I'd think it'd be available on their website. I have no cable at all, and canceled my HBO subscription through Amazon because the show I wanted to see was over and they had nothing else I was that interested in seeing. But without reading the article, I'd assume it's free to me.

reply

You could be right. I'm just PO'd at how expensive it is to have anything remotely entertaining through Comcast.
All I see are people discussing GameOT, now Tiger King, any number of interesting shows, but you have to be able to access and pay for them, so it's less of a communal thing rather than something people with $$ can share with each other.

reply

Good for them. Hopefully Amazon will do something similar.
