Anyone had Steak Diane?

Cubes of ribeye in a Worcestershire/wine cream sauce sautéed with mushrooms and onions. I had it a while ago and always remembered it being really good, decided to try my hand at it tonight from a recipe I found online. It is as delicious as I remembered, recipe needs a little tweaking to cook for one but once I perfect it I will make it my speciality.

I really hope you have a pretty girl , or boy, wow I just realized how stupid that was., to eat the steak with.. No seriously I really do.. Do you?

reply

I do but she’s in California right now, when she gets back I’ll have perfected it for her.

Nice I do feel like we assume everyone is straight here. It must be really hard for the gay people.

reply

Haha yeah, and in society in general

reply

oh I didn't mean it like that dirty mind...:)

It's not so bad tcrum, and anyway it's by no means just here where straight is the first assumption. There are a lot more straight people in the world, so to me it just makes sense. I think you'd have to be a little precious or thin-skinned to get hurt by people assuming you're straight, especially when there are still plenty of people who will actively vilify gay people and engage in online abuse. Pick your battles and don't sweat the small stuff, I say.

Apologies though MovieBuff, all this has nothing to do with Steak Diane, which I agree is a delicious way to prepare steak :)

oh i'm not worried about gay/straight thats the last of my troubles. I was just laughing at your , "hard" comment. Let me further the problem with this, he backed up into my hard .........

reply

I didn't make a "hard" comment. I was just responding to your comment "It must be really hard for the gay people" to let you know that it's really not.

??

Sorry, you've lost me.

reply

I've never had it with cubes of steak, but it is very tasty.

reply

I'm sorry Movie B.. If you coat the thin pounded steak in flour and saute it in olive oil.. make sure you include the onions and the garlic. There does that solve your recipe.
