What was this horror movie called

Hello everyone,
hopefully someone can help. i´ve been trying to remember for years.
The story begins, It was a highschool girl that had a crush on a boy from her school, she and her dad kidnapped that guy and too k him to their house, they had like a hole in their kitchen i guess where there were some kinds of zombies we get to later, they tie him up but the boy doesn´t like the girl so they decide to do what they did to the zombies, they drill a hole in his head and pour hot water in the hole, he would then become a zombie but he escapes, i think he steals their car and somehow escapes. And also there was like a grandma with them that was also zombified if that´s a word.
If anyone could help me find the movie PLEASE leave a comment or something, i think i saw the movie a few years ago on youtube.

Was it Australian? It might be The Loved Ones.

Sounds kind of like that, though I haven't seen that movie in a little while.

I agree, but there are no zombies, so perhaps the OP is mixing 2 movies....

Or.... confusing zombies with lobotomized peeps.

i'm casting my lot in with the loved ones as well. it's been a few years, and i've lost a lot of the details of that film to time, but it sure sounds close to me.
