Keanu Reeves "Dracula"

reply

Pretty much any movie he speaks in. He's got the look and the action, but bad line delivery.

reply

I thought Dracula was the one film where his boring, one dimensional acting almost worked for his role as an accountant type.

reply

He played a barrister, not an accountant.

reply

Fair enough, similar stuffy kind of personality though.

Wall Street - Daryl Hannah

reply

She won a Razzie for that. I haven't seen it though.

reply

She's pretty bad and unengaging for a character who is supposed to be like a trophy wife.

reply

Keanu Reeves - Bram Stoker's Dracula
Demi Moore - A Few Good Men
Mickey Rooney - Breakfast at Tiffany's
Anna Kendrick - Up in the Air
Shelley Duvall - The Shining

reply

I thought Moore was quite good in AFGM.

Duvall is awful in everything she is in. Which reminds me, the movie "Popeye" should be in the running of worst big budget movie ever. What a pile a crap.

reply

I used to feel that way about her (and Popeye too). But I've reseen some of her stuff recently, including Popeye, and I thought she and it were much better than I'd thought before.

reply

My parents took me to "Popeye" in the theatre, lol. I tried to re-watch it a few years ago and it was almost unwatchable. I love Robin Williams. And Harry Nilsson, who I love, wrote the music, so I wanted to like it.

I thought she was ok in "The Shining".

reply

Popeye was the first movie I ever saw at the cinema, but that was 40 years ago and I haven't seen it since - can't remember a damn thing about it to be honest!

Duvall was just plain annoying in The Shining though, am I the only one quietly hoping Jack catches her? If only to stop that infernal shrieking!

reply

I'd add Demi Moore in "Mr. Brooks".

reply

Eddie Redmayne in ' Tess of the D'Urbervilles ' (2008)
He single-handedly ruined what was otherwise a fine TV mini-series.

Daniel Radcliffe in the 'Harry Potter' movies. Nice kid but overall a poor actor.

Brad Pitt was pretty bad in 'Meet Joe Black' (1998)

PS: Renee Zellweger won an Oscar for her performance in 'Cold Mountain'.

reply

I know Zellweger won an Oscar for Cold Mountain. I actually saw it about a month after she won it and I couldn't believe how bad she was. I have found over the years people bringing up how it was undeserved.

reply

I think Zellweger is an actress whose manner just rubs some people up the wrong way. I got that feeling sometimes from watching her in 'Me, Myself & Irene'. But I thought she was very good in 'Cold Mountain', much better than Kidman.

reply

Julia Sweeney in Pulp Fiction. Yes, worse than Tarantino.

reply

She had less than a minute of screen time.

reply

And it was the most awful minute of the entire movie!

reply

Agreed.

"so what's with the outfits? Are you guys going to a volleyball game or something?"

Ugh

I've seen the deleted scene of that, and she's still cringe worthy, but it was much better than that line. I think Dick Miller played her dad. I would have much rather seen his scene than hers

reply

Dick Miller would've been great.👍

reply

Chris Tucker was not terrible. He was supposed to play an over-the-top, flaming Little Richard-type character, and he nailed it. Maybe blame Besson's direction for his performance. Speaking of that movie, Bruce Willis IMO gave the worst performance because he basically phoned it in and looked like he couldn't care less while everyone seemed into the spirit of the film.

reply

Bruce Willis has phoned in every one of his performances the last 15 years.

reply

That's his schtick. It's lazy but it seems to work for him.

reply

I wouldn't call it very good, but Gangs of New York is a decent flick. But I was absolutely shocked by how terrible DiCaprio and Cameron Diaz were in it. Or maybe it was just because they were acting alongside Daniel Day Lewis.

reply

DiCaprio accent goes in and out the entire film.

reply

Heidi von Palleske in Dead Ringers, bitches.
