Now for the bad news: if you live in Canada, USA or Japan, this list means nothing because these countries aren't getting it. I don't know why they would say they're releasing it globally when these three countries are out of luck.

i was browsing around on twitter this morning when i saw a big trending notice pop up saying that all these incredible films were getting added to netflix. hot piss!

only to find out that i won't get any of them. harrumph.

honestly, i am probably going to drop netflix in the first quarter of this year. according to my viewing stats, i use it less than any of the other streaming services i regularly utilize, and it costs more than any of the others that i subscribe to.

i think i'm going to make a point of watching all the stuff i really want to see over the next month or so, & then i'm going to send my subscription to heaven to be with jesus.

I have no problem with downloading something *cough* illegally if that's what it takes. It seems that their attempts to combat pirating is to make us pay for separate streaming services where we can't even get close to everything we want.

Most of anime in US is owned by Crunchyroll, which belongs to Warner. That means that probably you should look towards them. It seems that Warner wants to close Crunchyroll as a separated entity and make anime an important part of their stream service.

Bad news is that Crunchyroll has become infamous for including western politics when dubbing dialogues that weren't political in the Japanese original. Of course, you can just use the Japanese track and subtitles, which is much better.

I've never heard of Crunchyroll but it sounds delicious.
