So, a lot of crtics have been voting for Parasite as the number 1 contender for both the Best Picture and Best Director category at the 2020 Oscars. I haven't seen it yet but I plan to before the Oscars air.
It would be nice to have some valuable feedback from fellow movie nerds !
The best movie I've seen in the last few years. The ending could be better, but it's a thrilling ride before it. 9/10.
shareit's a great film, absolutely worth seeing. it's a genuine thriller - funny & weird & a bit frightening at times, a true crowd-pleaser. it's not quite at the top of my favourite films of the decade, but it's definitely in the mix.
a little aside: i just caught a film called 'honeyland' at the art-snob theatre down the street, and they're showing parasite a few times this weekend. when i walked into the theatre, i noticed they had a sign posted stating that every screening of it was sold out.
