Do you notice lines added in post production?

So it’s dialogue off screen (you don’t see them say it) and you think “oh they just added that because they thought the scene needed more explanation” or “they’re covering up a plot whole.” Etc

I notice these things.

I notice this too. Even dubbed lines. For example, I was watching Pixels with my kids, and I noticed a few instances where they replaced certain words to make it more age appropriate (I'm guessing).

"And I couldn't even get a *handshake* from Venus Williams." hahaha

Also, the off-screen dialogue is pretty noticable in Armageddon as well.

I was watching Vegas Vacation and when the kids finally meet up with the parents they added the mom saying "where have you been?" and it didn't fit, no reactions. It's like someone watched an edit and said "shouldn't they be wondering where their kids were?"

Good catch! I watched Vegas Vacation a few months ago and still love it :)

I didn't like this movie at all when I first saw it, given that 8 years after Christmas Vacation it seemed like a cash grab.

I actually enjoyed this time seeing as I've been to Vegas twice and had a sense of context to where they were.

Plus I've lost money and chased debts so I could feel for Clark.
