Can you tell the difference between regular mp3s
and lossless flac. I dont think there is a large difference.
shareAbsolutely! So long as you are listening to the music on a decent sound system. The higher the resolution of the mp3 of course the less difference there is. I will happily listen to music mp3's encoded at 320kbps for instance but am much less happy with 192kbps. Anything less than that is only suitable for audio books.
Millennials seem to be the low-res generation. Happy to listen to music on low quality devices at horrible compression rates, happy to watch video on their iPhones in a similar way and also happy to put up with the awful Instagram images that look like they have gone through an acid bath. I don't understand it. Go high-res or go home is my advice.
