I’m actually not sure what constitutes a blockbuster, but my favorite acting performances are both done by ddl in there will be blood and gangs of New York.

Sigourney Weaver in Aliens

I would say most of the cast of the Lord of the Rings movies if those count as blockbusters

Bingo. She carries those first two movies so well. Even though it seems like a demanding role, she seems very comfortable doing it.

How are you gonna say Roy Scheider and not Robert Shaw??

Best performance I’ve seen in a blockbuster was a little kid throwing a tantrum to be able to rent a video game AND a movie.
