I don't remember the character's name, but in "Shogun" with Richard Chamberlain there was this scene with this badass samurai archer, and they're all getting drunk on sake (I think Chamberlain was trying to get the dude drunk for some nefarious reason) and samurai leaps to his feet, grabs his bow and fires an arrow and nails a post really far away... Still remember that scene after 42? years...

The cast in Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?. They are drunk and drinking the whole film through. Special mention to Elizabeth Taylor who won a very well deserved Oscar.
