One Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich. I was 12 or 13 when I saw this in a theater. Definitely had an impact. I thought this would be a challenge as when you say "Asia," Northern Asia (Siberia) isn't the 1st, 2nd, 3rd or even 4th thing that comes to mind. This British-Norwegian film stars Tom Courtenay as Ivan and is from the from the Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn novel of the same name.
