A while back I left a couple songs here from an old favorite musician, the acoustic guitar player extraordinaire Leo Kottke.
I suppose the style of music isn't for everyone but instead of playing complicated music he plays melodically simple songs with amazing facility.
He also likes to tell stories between songs to give his hands a rest, and I just ran into this one. It's not very in tune with today's sensibilities but I'll use it anyway. The sound on the song isn't very good and it cuts out before he's finished but it's the story that shows what his concerts were often like

But I have to find a good video of him playing with decent sound so I'll get to that promptly. I love this guy.

Almost included him singing and playing his version of Eight Miles High and or Pamela Brown but Leo singing is a whole 'nother thing. His fans love him, that's all I can say. And I saw something from the Merv Griffen Show (!!), but I shouldn't leave four or five songs when you might not like any of 'em, but there we have it.

Used to have the double Living In The Past album. Don't remember why I gave it up but I should have kept it. Although it would be in pretty crappy shape by now, I imagine. Got it when it was new, as I recall.

Nice! Such a great album. Tough to think of the little things we've lost along the way.

Curved Air - Dance of Love
(her vocals are just to great...great band. The guy on drums is her ex, Stewart Copeland, who started The Police after Curved Air broke up in 1976)

Nice!
I like the guitar solo towards the end especially

I’m playing The Clash right now…where would we be without our fun music?!

Glad ya liked it!

I'll post the next random song that comes up :)

Rolling Stones - Tattoo You 1981

I love the Stones but I think this was the last really great album by them. There were some great songs off of their later 80s and 90s releases but their albums were not as consistent as their earlier releases in my opinion.
