You are lucky you have never had tinnitus. It can be pretty awful. I use to get it if I blew my nose too hard. I learned my lesson.

Holy crap! I know the delicate nature of the ear nose throat system very well, and Ive learned things the hard way, but yes I agree I am lucky in that regard.

My Dad has very light lifelong tinnitus from firearm training so he always cautioned me about my ears.
