Did anyone else think Bohemian Rhapsody wasn’t that great?

A TV movie of the week

i think they expected it to do really well because of the fact that it's queen so they glossed over all the work in a way. There were times where the acting was just not good and that could be due to the script but it felt very amateur in a way.

I really enjoyed it. My only gripe was that some of the songs were chronologically out of order, for absolutely no reason whatsoever.

It was okay for a rental movie. The same will be for Rocketman

comfortably smug, my favourite twitter troll, said that bohemian rhapsody was like watching someone read out queen's wikipedia page.

I was bored 40 minutes in. There was about another hour and a half left.

Every biopic that is accurate is boring. You have to shape it around the classic story structure, most notably, the low point, and then saving the day. So they invented that he ditched his band and came back for Band Aid. Not accurate at all but good storytelling. Plus throw in some gay love story at the end for a happy ending lol
