SONGS THAT MAKE ME TEARY-EYED...

now I know this sounds crazy, but I HAVE NEVER BEEN ABLE TO LISTEN TO THIS ONE ALL THE WAY THRU....

it affects me SOOOO much...one day in the car it came on the radio, and I told myself not to be silly, and just listen to the thing all the way thru.......and I JUST COULD NOT DO IT!!!!

ALSO on a much smaller level, "What's New?"...esp. at the end......."I haven't changed, I still love you so".....!!!!

then there's "Smoke gets in your eyes'......what a great lyric!! .but esp.....'now laughing friends deride, tears I cannot hide....so I smile and say, when a lovely flame dies, smoke gets in your y eyes'.................

again, these two are not in the same 'make me cry' league as the Nelson song, but make me pause and think!!!

AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST....."But Beautiful' by Billie Holiday.........great lyric and great singer!!!
