Help with movie title

I am trying to remember the name of a movie. I think the movie was a similar style to Journey to the Centre of the Earth, where they end up in a land with strange creatures and plantlife, but it was a comedy. They may have entered through a mine shaft, or a rollercoaster? It came out in the 00's. Any ideas?
