The musical Cats

I've never seen it, but I don't really have any interest in doing so. I realize this is a book-by-its-cover scenario, but that seems like an incredibly stupid play.

Are the songs catchy? They must be. Do you like Cats?

I like Cats. It was the first big Broadway musical production I saw. I also have always liked T.S. Elliot's Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats.

I think that the music is a little dated now, but I find that with a few of Webber's musicals. I really don't know what kind of movie it will be when it comes out in December. I hope they don't make it too much like the stage version. I don't think so looking at the cast as they are singers, not dancers.

I saw it off broadway...the crowd ate it up but I don't think musical theater is for me
Another lousy date from 20 years ago!

As an adult, after experiencing dinner theater during my time in college, seeing a performance of Dicken's "A Christmas Carol," and "Memphis" on Broadway, I have come to really appreciate the artsy and serene craft everyone puts into their stage roles.

Being an active in "Cats" is like enduring the ultimate form of humiliation. Anyone who can dance and sing in front of lots of people while donning those elaborate feline costumes and makeup has my sincerest respect.
