Americans, would you vote Oprah for president?

She seems to be doing a lot of tv appearances of late, seems she's putting her toe in the water.

reply

But isn't Oprah on TV all the time for decades already?

reply

No, her show wrapped in 2011

reply

No.

reply

I'm Canadian so I couldn't vote, but I think she would make a good president.

reply

I think the americans should vote Dr. Phil for president.

reply

👍
And Dr Oz as vice!

reply

That would work.

reply

They should vote for Stallone.... then we can have Dolph and Belgium could go for Van Damme. HOW GREAT WOULD THAT BE?

reply

I'm down for it.

reply

He might be a good negotiator. I can picture him talking to North Korean President... "We're talking about missiles but let's go deeper, how was your relationship with your father? Because that's what's really at play here isn't it? You don't want to feel like you're letting him down."

reply

Exactly XD

reply

Lol. Best president ever!

reply

I'd vote for Bernie Sanders... Maybe, maybe, Tulsi Gabbard.. Anyone else, and I'll sit home and watch a movie like 2016. Fuck right-wing "Democrats" who pretend they've been "progressive" for 30 minutes.

Oprah is the 'feel good' candidate for rich pseudo-libs and Hollywood types.

They still won't admit that Trump, a former game show host, Hollywood schmoozer, and part-time actor, is in fact one of their own. They won't acknowledge the truth that Oscar or not, Oprah only has a few less credits than Trump, and up until his election as President he actually had more acting credits than her.

So having a black female 'liberal', albeit one of the richest people in the world, as President makes them feel so much better about their own wealth and elitism.

It's PRECISELY because of one-percenters and neolibs like Oprah that Trump won in 2016. True socialists said 'screw this. You guys are all the same' and stayed home on election night.

No Oprah would be a terrible president. As would Bernie Sanders. As would Kamala Harris. As would Corey Booker. As would Clinton.
You know what?
Everyone would make a terrible president. Because it isn't about trying to be a good president and help the country anymore. It's all about what they could gain for themselves and their constituents while in office.

I usually avoid political topics, and I'm sure my answer won't be a popular one here, but yes, I would.

I like her stability and common sense. I like her sense of community and her integrity. She's smart, she's proven herself as someone who overcame humble and even horrific beginnings, beating the odds in a way that's very inspiring. She has dignity, and shows respect for others -- even when they disagree with her.

These are all very important qualities for a leader.

Unfortunately, when this came up a while back, she said she wouldn't run. I get why, but I still wish she would.

Her judgement is terrible.

She had Michael Jackson on her show after all, and as part of the entertainment community she should have had more of an idea than the common folk, like you and me, about what kind of man he was, instead of promoting him for her personal benefit.

If you back Oprah, you're basically backing her choice to put that child molesting POS on her show. But hey, it's your choice. Your morality. ☺️

Well looks like she´s backtracking on whatever support she had for MJ´s accusers. She has deleted all her tweets relating to Finding Neverland. She has also deleted the interview from her youtube channel. You are right, she 100% has poor judgment, but not because she had MJ on her show. FYI, he was not criminally charged in 1993.
