Great movie, but did anyone else think it was sort of stupid and unrealistic that Naomi Watts’ character would aggressively go poking around in the Russian mafia’s business let alone be stupid and naive enough to tell them she has the girls diary?

I've seen it many times. It's a great movie and Viggo is amazing in it. There was supposed to be a sequel to it, but I don't know what's going on with that.

Actually, I read a few weeks ago that a sequel is indeed happening and there's already a director attacked to the project. Unfortunately though, Viggo won't be returning.

She seemed in over her head and was going the extra mile to locate the child's family
Being naiive and unaware of the danger is how I took her character to be
