...in all of sports?

I wonder what your opinion is, but I also heard that teams issue an IQ test to potential quarterbacks to see if they are fit for the job....

Possibly
The Point Guard in Basketball is a huge position...The Point needs to understand Coach, deliver the ball where it counts and master the offense
I think Quarterbacks and Point Guards are about equals

Well, they are among the leaders on the team and help the pitcher call pitches....

i would say, in terms of split-decisions with multiple options/check-offs, under the stress of getting mauled, that is probably true.

catcher in baseball, mid-fielder in soccer/football, center in hockey

a skipper in competitive sailing has to rank way up there.

I was just now googling 'Skipper' and 'competetive sailing' because of your last comment...I really had no idea how big of a deal Sailing is lol

When I hear 'Skipper' I immediately think of Gilligan's Island...I'm pretty stupid😂
