Peanut Butter, Cinnamon, and Milk Chocolate

The savoriness of Peanut Butter....

The spiciness of Cinnamon....

The bittersweetness of Milk Chocolate....

Put these things together, and do you not have the most heavenly dessert/sweet food there is? I think not!

reply

Sounds good. I think I've eaten that before.

reply

I just put some peanut butter and cinnamon in my hot chocolate! It was awesome!

reply

Does the peanut butter melt?

reply

Yes, it does (although it may take some time. I mixed it to help melt it.)

reply

Hm, I might try that. Thanks.

reply

milk chocolate is bittersweet ??

reply

Chocolate is a little bitter by itself, and even when diluted with milk you can still taste some of the bitterness (which is why combining it with some kind of sour fruit doesn't taste good in my opinion.)

reply

I find dark chocolate bittersweet but milk chocolate is creamy - I just had three Lindt milk chocolate truffles.

reply

I despise chocolate and orange together.

reply

This is gross. We agree on something. 😊😊😊

reply

I never got that combo either. A lot of people enjoy it. I do like chocolate with cherries / chocolate with strawberries.

reply

No problem with other fruit. I'm even okay with lime or lemon combined with white chocolate. But orange? Yuck!

reply

Sounds a little bit like Mexican hot chocolate, apart from the peanut butter.

reply

I got the idea from that recipe! (subtracted the pepper because I feel pepper is best only for savory cooking.)

reply

White pepper will change your world.

reply

I'm assuming that goes well with sweet food?

reply

Everyone's tastes are different, but you might find delight from a sprinkle of it in your sweet dishes. It's often cited as hotter than black pepper, but it might be more appropriate in a chocolate concoction in order to enhance the sweetness.

reply

Ah...interesting. I should give it a try.
