When I was in Ensenada, Mexico, I was drawn to smell of grilled meat. The source of the smell was a taco truck, and so I went there and paid for some Carne Asada tacos and ate them. They were good.

I have a good trick for the fishermen/women out there-
Drive the country lanes and keep the windows down in the early Spring...when you smell a mildew funk stink on the waters you pass that means good fishing (the gross funky smell comes from the breeding season and I think it's a combo of the female eggs and the male stuff...)
That will be your Bass, Croppies and Sunfish spawning in the shallows
