Looking for two movies I saw years ago

I know this kind of post must pop every once in a while, so sorry if this is not allowed or if I'm in the wrong board, but this search has been haunting me for years now.

I have a pretty precise idea of the movies, so if anyone watched them it should ring a bell.

Please convince me my parents didn't put mushrooms in my food as a child.

The first is a time travel movie of sorts. It looked like one of those low budget scifi movies that airs on Space or Syfy.
To put it simple: guy goes to sleep, wakes up in a desert outside town two days later. That day he discovers a murder or an attempt of it (don't remember) took place the day before. He sleeps again, wakes up in the desert again the day of the murder, and prevents it. From there I don't remember what happens, iirc correctly the time travel happens again, the plot thickens and stuff, but right before the end the guy decides to go where he always wakes up in the desert and there he finds a child clad in rags, takes him in his arms and starts walking towards the camera. I don't know what happens after this because I had to stop watching at that scene, and to this day it bugs me to discover just how it ends.

The other is a super hero or martial arts movie. The guy is a boxer and his uniform looks exactly like Kato from Green Hornet, or Jet li in Black Mask, but it's not them (I'm mostly sure of it because 1 it's old, and 2 I THINK the actors were all western, and the plot was weird af).
The plot: some bad guy produces a serum which gives people animal powers (and appearance). I don't rememeber what animals the villains are, but iirc there was CGI involved (not sure), and eventually the hero gets injected with the serum and loses control in the box ring he practices, assuming bulldog like features. A friend of him tries to pacify him in that scene, and then he goes to fight the bad guys. That's what I remember. I'm not very attached to it but it bugs how I was uncapable to finding it again ever since.
