Should Confederate statues be removed?
Here's proof that liberals are NPCs. Not a single liberal has noticed that all these statues are of millitary generals. Not a single liberal has a problem with war? They love war, they just hate the other side?
Conservatives notice. They like the statues, not because they represent slavery but because they represent bravery, honor, heritage, all these other things. In my case I like them because they represent rebellion. They were rebels. Their flag is even known as the rebel flag. Even if they also represented slavery which is bad, they are part of a system and all systems are composed of good an bad which are inseparable. So it's important to never sweep anything under the rug or try to explain it away "in context" while still carrying on under that system.
Liberals are only able to see what the media puts right in front of them. This is the perfect opportunity for them to take a principled stand, organically. But they instead just allow the media to steamroll everything from the past. It's not just confederate statues, it's also Thomas Jefferson and George Washington, because they owned slaves, it's classic children's stories, because they contain offensive gender roles, it's the song "Baby it's Cold Outside" banned from radio because of #meetoo and now there's a whole list of songs radios have banned. You can find something wrong with everything if you look hard enough. You can problematize anything. Does the current generation really have a monopoly on morality? No. This is a concerted effort by a media establishment bent on domination. Why should we let them
We ought to build more confederate statues just to spite the control freaks. Rock and roll.
