I definitely would! I know that there are some people who wouldn't though, and I am interested in hearing why they wouldn't take it.
I would be suspicious. I would want to know why they were giving out free money. What if it was stolen or counterfeit? If it was someone I knew or trusted, I would likely take the money. I would be hesitant to take money from a total stranger.
