Has anyone seen Merry Christmas Mr Lawrence?

I've never seen the film but I'm wondering if it's worth watching as a Christmas film. It just doesn't seem like a Christmas movie to me. If it is, I'll check it out during Christmas. If it's a good movie, I'll check it out another time.

I wouldn't call it a Christmas movie in general, no. It is a good movie though.

I kind of thought it was going to be like Stalag 17. It takes place during Christmas but it doesn't feel very "Christmassy."

It's good, nice soundtrack as well. Not very Christmassy though.

It is a great movie. One of my favorite Bowie performances, and the music is excellent.

If you want a good Christmas movie: Batman Returns every time.

I haven't seen it, but I've been intending to for a number of years. Ryuichi Sakamoto composed a beautiful piece of music for it called Forbidden Colours.
