...Maybe... Kind of a tough one.
It's not my favorite decade for horror but there were tons and tons of other pretty good flicks besides some of the obvious favorites, like The Brood, Salem's Lot, Black Xmas, Living Dead at Manchester Morgue, some semi-interesting oddities like Don't Be Afraid of the Dark, and ambiently enjoyable mediocre and bad ones, like all the Christopher Lee/Peter Cushing/Vincent Price gothics and Hammers, Italian Giallos and exploitation flicks. I think most of my faves are from the 30s-60s and 80s really.

i also have a soft spot for 77's the sentinel, even though it's not a good movie by most standards i'm sure. it was one of the first horror movies i ever saw, & i remember it freaking me out quite a bit, & i'll always have some fondness for it.

Some cool stuff in The Sentinel, and a great de-nose-ification scene. It's pretty good, I enjoy it.
