I accidentally

Bought honey roasted instead of dry roasted peanuts. Peanuts don't need to be sweet, not in this way at least. I am perturbed.

reply

Yo Pete, I disagree. Honey roasted are some good shit.

My friend just told me my neighbor looks like he smells like pee. lmao

reply

Looks like he smells like, I like that

reply

Well, you surely look like that you like that.

reply

Try the Wasabi & soy sauce almonds next time.

reply

Wasabi is not my bag. Tastes sort of...poisonous or something. I really don't like it.

reply

That's kinda like how I feel about Tequila.

reply

I like tequila for the first 20 minutes, then I like it too much, then I hate it. I don't drink anymore so I don't have to fear my love/hate relationship with it any longer.

reply

I like wasabi because it is the only think I know of that is hot that you can just wash away with a swig of beer or anything else. It will wake up you better than caffeine, that is for sure.

reply

We may have the same taste in nuts. 😜

reply

Like them salty nuts do ya?

reply

No doubt, but they're legumes.

reply

I like honey roasted, but not if I'm expecting salty dry roasted.

Have you ever tried those vinegar and salt flavoured almonds? They're delicious. Wish they were a little less salty, but otherwise they're excellent.

reply

Totally agree. They add excess stuff to everything in an attempt to turn people away from natural foods because there is so much money in processing food. Sugar, salt, fat, sprinkles, chocolate, bacon, chia seeds, cheese .... anything they can think of, and with the profits they make on it, they invest in hospitals so they can leech your money as you die from eating all of that junk.

reply

I'm sick of sugar in everything, especially bread!

If I want sweets, I'll eat sweets.

I tried a Chinese place recently I'd been wanting to check out and I ordered the eggplant. It was loaded with sugar. Do they do that in China?

reply

I have no idea about China, but I bet not. I don't think they eat a lot of bread in China, but who knows. When I go to the supermarket here I cannot find any bread, except for French and Sourdough bread which are OK, but I prefer whole grain breads.

reply

Trader Joe's has a good whole grain bread - European Whole Grain Bread. It's like bread I had in Germany.

I was thinking yesterday that I wish I could find a bakery for bread. Remember those? Bakeries?

reply

When I was a kid we used to get this German Rye bread from the deli ... it was the best bread I ever had. Now the rye bread in the super-markets tastes like a dried out sponge and looks like plastic.

reply

Commercial Supermarket bread sucks. I go to the deli section for the nicer bread and it doesn’t suck as much.

You want good rye bread find a Jewish deli. Get some pickled herring too. Yum.

reply

Oh and the frozen section has decent bread to heat up.

reply

It may seem like a lot of work but it's really easy to make your own bread. Add anything you like to the dough and just make small buns. What you don't eat on the day, just cool and freeze. They only take about half an hour room temp to defrost πŸ‘

reply

Maybe easy for you, but for me I've never made bread before.

reply

I actually think honey roasted peanuts are really tasty!

reply

Lunacy!

reply

Yeah, especially with a pinch of sea salt. I'm absolutely loony!πŸ€ͺ

reply

I just very much prefer salt to sugar. I hated olives my whole life, but I recently started to give green olives a reevaluation after I had a couple delicious martinis. I don't drink anymore at all for a few months but I love green olives. Sweet peanuts is like pouring sugar over olives, it's just the wrong taste accompaniment.

reply

:0 been there my friend, I feel your pain :(

reply

A buddy of mine apparently grows these specialty nuts that I guess he dries and grinds to make tea with.

I think he even bags them up himself, because he said he would be happy to give me a teabag with his nuts any time I'm thirsty.

He's a nice guy.

reply

Omg Lol!
