Akira or Ghost in the Shell?

This is a tough one. I am watching Akira right now, and it's great, but man I do love Ghost in the Shell. They have a similar vibe, the animation in each is stunning. I might have to go with Ghost in the Shell. I like the music a little more.

One issue I have is not knowing Japanese, and if I watch a dub, I don't really know if the translation is any good, and if I watch original audio, I have no idea if the subs are any good. So I don't know if I've ever seen either movie properly.

In Akira there is a man who claims to not be 25 yet (in the dub) and he looks like he's like 50. It's super weird. He's not one of the aged Akira kids, just some dude and I can't get over it.
