Janet Wood
Chrissy Snow
Cindy Snow
Terri Alden

Chrissy was my favorite...

reply

Helen Roper.

reply

Miss Roper? Really Stanley???

reply

Well, his wife not him.

I liked the earlier years of Three's Company better. The Ropers were a decent spin-off was was a bit more grounded in reality.

reply

I didn't like the 2 spin-offs from Three's Company. But when the Ropers left & so did Chrissy, the show was never the same.

reply

Three's Company was a bit cheekier and lighter for sure. It just felt a little overplayed as a concept after a while for me.

Changing the girls certainly kept it from going under.

reply

They had 4 different roommates in 2 pilots before Janet & Chrissy came along...

reply

Was it always John Ritter?

I had no idea about the pilots.

reply

Yes John Ritter always been there...I might be wrong with the second pilot, maybe Joyce was brought in, but I know Suzanne was not yet cast.

reply

That is cool to know!

Thanks PA!

It's always been a casual syndication way of me seeing it and so I've not put much thought into it but now I know a little more than I did before.

reply

There is a second pilot...But Youtube removed it.

reply

I wonder what their testing factors were. This is long before the Internet but still quite progressive in its own way. There must be some literature on this stuff somewhere.

Janet

Bailey from WKRP

reply

Wrong show!!! But Jennifer was hotter!

reply

Better show...and...NOPE!

reply

I love WKRP...The new WKRP really sucked.

reply

Yes it did!

reply

Chrissy. She was the only reason I watched it.

reply

Maybe cos I am getting older, I find her more sexy now especially in the first two seasons.

Then when she started with these pig tails & her dumb attitude, Less sexy than the previous seasons.

reply

The original; Chrissy, or Somer's new interpretation of Chrissy? She gradually changed the character, and to her credit, she did not embarrass herself as the dumbed-down later Chrissy.
