Just a few years ago stabbings and shootings in the neck on TV or in movies were rare but today it seems like about 80% are in the neck? Can anyone pinpoint the movie or show or year this all started with? Or am I imagining it?

shareI guess I'm hyper sensitive to neck stabbing for some reason...it really gets to me. It seems like lately every movie or show drama now has at least one neck stabbing/shooting, maybe the act was more censored years ago or writers are copycats.
