Is the punishment for animal cruelty too soft?

I have something else in mind for this kind of people

reply

Lara Croft cruelly murders animals on daily basis.

reply

Self defense

reply

She is the one that consciously and deliberately coming to their habitat and killing them mercilessly.

reply

People who abuse animals need to be beaten and thrown in jail

reply

I take it you mean domestic animal abuse? Because otherwise we need to line up a few fur farmers and meat industry bigwigs.

reply

Yes,like in farm animals

a 14yr old in the UK in the news this week . kicked a dog to death. fined £500 banned from owning a dog for a few years.

reply

The notion that children are the product of the rearing they receive...

I wish I could totally agree with you...but it doesnt adress the my child is my best friend approach so popular today...

reply

[deleted]

Yeah...and schools do suck as well...hey! Maybe it's the kids😂

reply

So that the perpetrator could watch! An even harsher punishment that way! Muahahahaha!

Nah just kidding... the original joke was the revenge kicking is done by dogs. Imagine, to be kicked to death... by dogs! Lol.

Guys? Guys?

reply

I'm against hurting a kid but in this case,I would've beaten that kid so hard

reply

[deleted]

No,I assume the entire responsibility for what I've done

I did killed him,but it was a justifiable killing

He bit me and yes,in most part it was personal, but in the same time I had to think for the future also

What if he end up bitten somebody else, maybe a kid?

reply

Yep, many animals have been thrown into the oven or microwave. The animal killers get away or with a slap on the wrist. I wouldn't mind throwing them into a cremation oven. Free of Charge.

reply

perhaps.
but most people eat meat, and i would say the way many pigs and almost all chickens are treated in the meat industry are almost as terrible as many of the cases of animal abuse that get prosecuted.

i certainly agree that when people abuse dogs or other pets, that ought to be taken seriously.

but i think pigs & chickens deserve our sympathy too.

reply

I work part time as a farm hand and I have watched chickens get their heads chopped off (they do kinda flop around a bit) and believe it or not everybody does take a moment. It isn't easy to take a life even if it is just a chicken.

reply

Factory farming is abhorrent, I agree. All people care about is cheap meat. How about paying a little extra and buy from a humane source? I have no problem with hunting either. Much more humane than grocery store meat.

reply

very much agree.
i'm mainly a vegetarian, but i will happily eat hunted meat.

reply

Cool. I'm on a plant based diet right now for health reasons, not ethical, but hope to add wild caught fish back into my diet soon. I'm open to hunting in the future as well if I decide to eat meat again.

Did they ever catch the Bucharest Butcher?

Instead of killing your dog, Croft, why didn't you bring it to a vet to be euthanized? Did you not want to waste money that you could have spent on your childish Tomb Raider games?

Good news here in the United States - The FBI just made animal cruelty a Class A Felony. Bravo, FBI.

reply

I don't know about that case

reply

..and about the dog...Why didn't your bring it to a vet to be humanely euthanized?

reply

I acted driven by emotions.i was so mad

reply

I'm not mad Croft, just really disappointed that your capable of something like that. Your reasoning is no excuse.

reply

I'm not happy about it

reply

you keep coming back to this topic croft. move on.
