Bombay Sapphire & Tonic with lots of ice and an orange wedge.

Gin is like Cilantro. You either love it or hate it. Personally, its the only spirit that I actually enjoy.

Not much for mixed drinks. Usually just straight Whisky.

If I do it would be a Whisky or Brandy Old Fashioned Sweet.
I also do a vodka/lemonade/beer thing that is really good.

I've experimented with Whiskey, but haven't found anything I really like. I've been saving a bottle of Gin aged in Whiskey barrels, which I think should be served neat.

I agree that if you're drinking something aged it should be neat.
I have a bottle of 16 yr. old and 21 yr. old Lagavulin that I save for "special" occasions.
Problem is "special" occasions happen too often!

Forgot to mention Long Island Iced Tea.
A couple of those and you'll forget your own name.

Moscow Mule (vodka, ginger beer, lime juice, with a slice of lime) is my current favourite.

Seems to be popular lately. Someone mentioned ginger beer is oddly expensive?

It is, but it's worth it. In my opinion the quality of the ginger beer is far more important than the quality of the vodka itself. I prefer Rose's Lime as the lime juice. The limes should be organic, naturally.

I think Rose's Lime has been around for a long time. Seems like my Dad and Uncle would buy that when we were visiting, and we're talking back in the 60s.
