Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. Is it Raiders? No. Is it Last Crusade? Debatable. Is it a fun (albeit pretty fucked up and silly at times) piece of escapism? Absolutely.
The Neon Demon is another. People generally seem to loathe it. I wouldn't call it a fav though it entertained me and was unlike anything I've seen in quite a while.
'Day of the Wolves' (1971) comes to mind.
Not a well-known telefilm and it shows. It has it charms even though it's stuck in the 70s, the decade it was made. Many themes in it I felt are uncannily realistic in today's sociopolitical climate. Takes time to get invested but I was on the edge of my seat in the third and final act. Leaves a lot of the viewer to interpret on their own after watching, very impressionable. Some might feel it's very by-the-numbers. Getting past its age and okay film quality, I recommend.
