Agreed. The 2nd one doesn't have enough dark colors in it. Growing up, my parents had one that was dark burgundy.

Interestingly I just was joking around when I conceived the post, but I developed strong opinions about them after I selected the photos.

I do like them, I have a friend whose dad knows a guy who runs the best Persian rug place in town, but I'm more of a paycheck to paycheck kind of guy. Maybe I can convince my parents to get one and inherit it.
