StoneKeeper's Vacation Game: Guess a Movie #13 [Winner: FredBurroughs]

Rules of the game:

So you guys like to play games? Here is an investigation game that can be time consuming but it's lots of fun. Basically, I have a movie in mind and you have to guess which one it is. For each movie you guys are going to guess, I will give a hint that CONNECTS your guess with the movie I have in mind.
Example of connections: Actor, length, genre, aspect ratio, language, country, year, director, writer in common, rating, number of votes, nominations. It can even be something like: both movies involve a girl being murdered.

- The winner can either start a new game or say "pass". In case of a pass, the OP gets to start another one.
-After 12 hints, the point goes to the OP and he gets to start another one.

Good Luck!

Also, it only occurred to me after I made the hint that I find it rather strange that The Shining is categorized in the drama genre on IMDb. I doubt anyone thinks of it that way.

reply

YEah, Mystery/Psychological horror is more like it.

I agree. I contemplated changing the hint right after I made it, but I decided not to because some people might have already seen it and changing it would constitute an extra hint. I figure once the hint has been posted, I'm committed to it, lol.

I do think the book version of The Shining has a little bit more drama than the movie. But yeah it's very much secondary and I don't think it should be categorized in that genre.
