Horror/Thriller
There are many so low rated on iMDB and with good reason, but does anyone have any suggestions for movies that were still okay despite the bad rating? Thanks

Green room
Small Town Crime
Blue Ruin
All were very good thriller/crime movies and well worth watching
and blue ruin has a 7.1. both of them were really highly acclaimed films.
not to be all nit-picky, but the request was for films that people like that have low ratings.
I guess im mistaken
Still, all 3 are really not mentioned very often and i thought i would...my mistake though
Cheers🍻
no worries at all.
i love trashy horror films, & thought i would have no problem finding several that i could throw on here as examples, but i found that all the ones i really like generally have at least 5.5-6 ratings - which aren't really low. they're a little below average, but not the kind of thing the op was looking for, i believe.
for eg, i thought the 1982 slasher pieces, which i truly enjoyed but thought everyone else would hate, would have a 4 rating on imdb. not so - it has a fairly robust 6.1.
Backwoods (1987),slow first half but gets better.
shareHostel
It´s a great combination of a buddy comedy drifting into a surreal gory thrill ride.
