It seems that she passed away in her sleep aged 69, no suspicious circumstances.

The article I read said she was found by a friend, she appeared that she'd been sleeping on her sofa and died. There is usually an inquest into sudden unexplained death, and toxicology results were pending.

She had a breakdown at one point I think.

Yes, she had mental health problems and struggled with drugs, iirc.

I love the scene where the body is hidden in sofa and Margot has to try and not act suspicious infront of the cops when they check the apartment.

I always felt that she had bad energy around her, as in “clinical depression.” I thought she was a terrible Lois Lane.
