Stonekeeper's Vacation Game: Guess a movie #2 [Kawada Kira 🎈]

So you guys like to play games? This is my favorite one that we use to play on Imdb. It's a investigating game that can be time consuming but it's lots of fun. Basically, I have a movie in mind and you have to guess movies. For each movies you guys are going to guess, I will give a hint that connects the two movies. Example: Actor, lenght, genre, aspect ratio, language, country, year, director, writer in common, rating, number of votes, nominations. It can even be something like: both movies involve a girl being murdered. The winner of the game can either start a new one after or say "pass" and I will do it.
After 12 hints, the original poster gets the point and also get to do another one.

Hint #1: Saw (2004): Imdb Rating is higher than 7.5 but lower than 8
Hint #2: No country for old men(2007): Title won at least one Oscar
hint #3: The Usual Suspects (1995): Metascore is higher than 75 but lower than 80
Hint #4: The Godfather(1972): Based on a novel
Hint #5: Les Miserables(2012): Three genre in common: Drama Romance War
Hint #6: Midnight Cowboy: Leading actor won at least two Oscar in career

Scoreboard:

Allaby: 1

Because you should a bit like Jigsaw in your opening sentence I'll go with:

Saw (2004)

This seems fun. I followed the other thread without contributing just to see how the game is played. I guess I'll join in.

Hmm, how about... No Country for Old Men.

Thanks, I wasn't sure if I should just X by ten or if you accidentally copied the imdb score twice.

Great game! I think Kawada solved it -- Last of the Mohicans
